Location was good and relatively good breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, making my stay comfortable. I appreciated the friendly staff who made checking in easy.

Unexpected birthday surprise from staff

From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and helpfulness shone through. They greeted us with kindness, and I must say, receiving a surprise birthday cake in my room was a delightful touch!

Unfortunately, we faced some noise disturbances from the hallway, which impacted our sleep. the lack of a mini-fridge was a slight inconvenience, as we wanted to keep our beverages cool.

Had a great time at the Lodge! The breakfast was delicious and the location made it easy to get around. Just wished the reception had more staff during check-in as the line was a bit long. a solid stay!

Housekeeping surprised me at 7 AM, but the staff were quite accommodating.

My experience was quite unpleasant. The carpet in the hallways looked tattered, and the room couldn’t seem to escape the feeling of neglect — there was mildew in the shower, and the air conditioning system failed during loadshedding. To top it off, I found the front desk staff unhelpful when I needed them. I felt more like an inconvenience than a guest.

The proximity to nearby shops and restaurants greatly enhanced my stay, making it very convenient.

The staff at City Lodge Hotel Lynnwood were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of my room and the convenience of nearby facilities, including shops and restaurants, which enhanced my stay tremendously.

Comfortable Stay with Excellent Amenities

Enjoyed a lovely double room with fresh orange juice at breakfast and welcoming staff who brought drinks to our room. For future guests, consider requesting room service in advance for a smoother experience. Just remember to manage housekeeping times with the 'do not disturb' sign.

The twin room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay in a convenient location with shops nearby. the Wi-Fi struggled with connectivity, making it difficult to conduct meetings. Housekeeping did not clean the room until late in the day, which was inconvenient, especially during my scheduled commitments. Staff interaction lacked warmth during check-in and check-out. a more friendly approach would have enhanced the overall experience.

The breakfast served was quite memorable and better than your average spread, really hitting the spot after a long night. The room was neat and standard, providing a decent level of comfort for a couple of nights.

The safe in the room wasn’t attached to anything, making it utterly useless — not what you want to hear about security. The pillows were as hard as a rock, not much help for a good night’s sleep. the bar area could use a facelift, as the smoke from the kitchen made sitting there less enjoyable. the absence of a mini-fridge in the room was disappointing, especially when wanting to chill beverages. To top it off, noise from the hallways wasn't exactly soothing during the night, and housekeeping barged in too early on my first morning, cutting into my rest.

The Double Room I stayed in was clean and more spacious than I expected. The beds were comfy, and I felt safe in the hotel. I noticed that the toiletries were a bit minimal, though, with just some soap — so pack your own if you need more.

Spotlessly clean rooms and 24-hour reception staff were welcoming, but Wi-Fi was disappointing.
